Sub: Transfer to Higher degree/ Ph.D. programme

The Institute’s Academic Regulations allow transfer of bright and highly motivated students to the higher degree/ Ph.D. Programme.

Students, graduating in December 2021 and interested in admission to the higher degree/ Ph.D. programme may do so by seeking a transfer to the same. A graduating student of a particular campus can seek for a transfer to a higher degree/Ph.D. programme offered at that campus. A Student can also seek a transfer to a Higher Degree/ Ph.D. programme offered at the other campus if that particular programme is not offered in his/her campus.

Interested students must apply through the online portal at http://admission.bits-pilani.ac.in/verticaltransfer/ on or before 26th November, 2021 by 5.00 p.m.

As per the provisions of Academic regulations of the Institute, a transferred student can be awarded the intermediate degree as and when he completes the requirement of the same. However the result of all applicants will be withheld and will be released only after a decision on vertical transfer is taken.

Decision about the transfer is expected to be taken latest by the end of December 2021 and will be available at http://admission.bits-pilani.ac.in/verticaltransfer/

Students can also seek admission to ME programme in Sanitation Science, Technology and Management Management through the normal admission process by filling up the higher degree application form within the deadline (20th December, 2021) for the same.
